The Blue Cow
Everyone has a ‘Blue Cow’ deep inside … having curiosity, being spontaneous and longing for adventure.The Blue Cow stands for being different, pushing boundaries and following the inner gut feeling.
Let’s tell you the story of the Blue Cow. There is a herd of brown cows moving from one corner of the field to the other, nicely fenced in. Here comes the blue cow and wants to explore more than being fenced in a field. She goes to the brown cows and says, ‘I am going to the moon.’ The brown cows say, ‘You can’t do this.’ The blue cow doesn’t listen. She follows her gut feeling, leaves the herd and goes on an adventure. On the road of adventure she is alone, however it brings her great experiences and growth in herself.
It is not easy to break out of comfort, habits and from people that bring rigidness, represented by the brown cows.
There was a children’s series on BBC many years ago, The Blue Cow, a fantastic message for the little ones.
